Full itinerary - 7 Colors Mountain (Vinicunca) full day

Its landscape is simply unique: a scenery of imposing peaks, glaciers and hills dyed in natural colors such as pink, red, green, white, purple and yellow. These bands of colors were formed more than 65 million years ago, due to the oxidation of minerals accumulated in the layers of the Andean soil.
Vinicunca is located in the district of Pitumarca, province of Canchis, in an area surrounded by mountains and inhabited by high Andean communities. Along the way, it is common to observe llamas, alpacas, vicuñas and other Andean animals that complement the natural beauty of this jewel of Cusco.
