Thanks to vehicular access near the entrance, it is only a 30-minute hike to the main viewpoint. Like Vinicunca, Palcoyo presents a mountainous landscape with amazing natural tonalities formed more than 65 million years ago, with colors such as pink, white, red, green and purple, product of the oxidation of minerals.
Surrounded by a mountain range, Palcoyo also offers views of the Red Valley, an impressive stone forest and, on clear days, the majestic snow-capped Ausangate (6,385 masl). During the trek it is common to see llamas, vicuñas and alpacas, belonging to local high Andean communities.
Palcoyo is a recent destination that is presented as an excellent alternative for national and foreign tourists looking for unique landscapes with less physical effort.

- The tour to the mountain of colors Palcoyo starts from the city of Cusco towards the district of Cusipata (3300 meters above sea level) in a journey of 2 hours.
- Once located in the district of Cusipata after a long trip we will have breakfast buffet in a tourist restaurant in the same district.
