DAY 1: CUSCO CITY - KM 104 - WIÑAYHUAYNA - PUERTA DEL SOL - AGUAS CALIENTES

• Pick up from your hotel in Cusco at 04:00 hrs to leave in a tourist bus to km 104 where the Inca Trail trek begins.
• Beginning of the hike in a journey immersed in a lot of vegetation and impressive landscapes surrounded by mountains, then visit Wiñayhuayna on roads of the thick jungle and have the entrance through the Sun Gate from there we will have a view of all Machupicchu and then descend to spend the night in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO

• The day begins with the hike to Machupicchu and then through a guided tour to know all Machupicchu and know all the mysteries through an expert guide and if you book the entrance to the mountain Waynapicchu can access it.
• After the guided we will start the descent to be able to take our food on our own and wait for the train back to Cusco.

The 2-day Inca Trail or also known as the short Inca Trail, an ideal hike for those who have limited time and can not make the 4-day Inca Trail, the circuit has an extension of 13 kilometers in distance on a path of ancient Inca trails that connects with the wonder of the world Machupicchu.

TOUR DESCRIPTION:

DAY 1: CUSCO CITY - KM 104 - WIÑAYHUAYNA – SUNGATE - AGUAS CALIENTES

• This fantastic tour starts with the pick up from your hotel in Cusco at 04:00 hrs and then we will leave in a tourist bus to Ollantaytambo in a trip of 1 hour and a half. In Ollantaytambo we will have time to do last minute shopping and then board the train that will take us to kilometer 104 of the railway line that leads to Machupicchu.
• Once located at km 104 we will have our entrance control prior to it the guide will give us all the guidelines on the tour here we will also give you a box lunch and a snack for the route. Once the hike begins we will pass through Inca trails and impressive vegetation surrounded by mountains. We will have a hike up to the archaeological site of Wiñayhuayna or also called "eternally young" which is connected by a long staircase, buildings and formed by agricultural terraces or terraces where the type of architecture are made of granite lithic elements.
• Once we enjoy the visit of this beautiful place we will go to the Sun Gate or Intipunku where we can have the view of all Machupicchu in a unique point of entry of the Inca Trail and then start with the descent to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night in a hotel and rest for the next day to climb and to know the wonder of the world Machupicchu.
• This day is optional for you to go to the hot springs of Aguas Calientes to relax after a day of pure trekking.

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO

• All the effort of a day of trekking will be reflected in this day, for this we will leave very early in order to make the trek from Aguas Calientes to Machupicchu in a 2 hour walk so that our guide can give us all the information about Machupicchu.
