1.- GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The client by acquiring the services of UKUMARI PERU TRAVEL travel agency accepts the terms and conditions that are applied to all reservations and tours that are on our website.

2.- TOUR RESERVATIONS

All tour reservations made through the website via our corporate emails such as: info@ukumariperutravel.com, sales@ukumariperutravel.com or by communication via WhatsApp are guaranteed to be fulfilled. 

Once the client send your request for booking the tour will receive a confirmation from our team where you will be asked for basic information for the realization of the tours.

3.- PAYMENT METHOD POLICIES 

For the realization of the tours it is necessary to make 100% of the total payment before the start of the tour.

4.- CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES

All tour cancellations must be made by email by the direct person who made the reservation or payment of the reservation through our email channels: info@ukumariperutravel.com or sales@ukumariperutravel.com

All cancellations are subject to penalties depending on the type of tour to be cancelled. 

CANCELLATIONS OF TOURS THAT DO NOT HAVE MACHUPICCHU AS DESTINATION.

  • If the request for cancellation of the tour is received 04 days before the start of the tour no penalty will be applied.
  • If the payment of the tour was paid in advance, only the cost of transferring the refund to the client’s account will be applied.

CANCELLATIONS 30 DAYS – 6 DAYS AFTER THE TOUR IS CONFIRMED

  • If the tour cancellation request is received 30 days to 6 days prior to your tour after the tour confirmation is sent, you will be subject to an operating expense penalty of US$ 50.00 per person.
  • The income to Machupicchu, Machupicchu mountain, Wayna Picchu have a full penalty so there is no refund of these expenses, these are policy rules established by the Ministry of Culture of Peru.
  • Also train tickets to Machupicchu and vice versa have an additional penalty of 15% of the original value of the ticket, these are policies established by the company responsible for the trains INCA RAIL and PERU RAIL.

CANCELLATION 04 DAYS AFTER THE TOUR IS CONFIRMED

  • If a cancellation request is received 04 days after confirmation is sent, it will be subject to a penalty for operating expenses of US$ 55.00 dollars per person.
  • The income to Machupicchu, Machupicchu mountain, Wayna Picchu have a full penalty so there is no refund of these expenses, these are policy rules established by the Ministry of Culture of Peru.
  • Also train tickets to Machupicchu and vice versa have an additional penalty of 50% of the original value of the ticket, these are policies established by the company responsible for the trains INCA RAIL and PERU RAIL.

CANCELLATION 03 DAYS AFTER THE TOUR IS CONFIRMED

  • If a cancellation request is received only 72 hours before your trip will have a penalty of 100%.

CANCELLATION OF THE INCA TRAIL TOUR

  • Once the Inca Trail tour is confirmed, no refund will be granted due to the characteristics of the service involved.

REFUNDS

Refunds are also subject to penalties, these are the cases in which no refund can be made:

  • If the client does not show up for the tour will be considered as NO SHOW therefore there will be no refund.
  • If the client presents health problems at the time of starting the tour and decides not to continue it will be considered as NO SHOW for not traveling and continue with the tour, therefore, there will be no refund or rescheduling for this event.
  • If the client for health problems decides to abandon the tour once started there will be no refund.
  • If the client is unable to continue with the treks due to physical or medical problems, etc. there will be no refunds.
  • If the client abandons the tour, the client will be responsible for his/her own expenses such as food, transportation, medical attention, and lodging for which the company is not responsible.

Refunds will be granted by the same method of payment after 48 hours. Refunds made to bank accounts of different banks usually take longer depending on the bank.

5.- DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY:

UKUMARI PERU TRAVEL is not responsible in the following cases:

  • If the information of names and data provided are not the same as the passport, ID card, ID card or student card for this reason it is very important to provide the correct information.
  • Technical problems or mechanical malfunctions with the train service, and transfer buses to the Inca city of Machupicchu that could cause delays in their entry to Machupicchu or return, all because these companies are the only private operators of this type of service to Machupicchu.
  • Weather problems, road blockages for maintenance, social conflicts, strikes, strikes and natural disasters that endanger your arrival to the Machupicchu llaqta and other tourist circuits offered on the website.
  • Partial or total loss or damage of your luggage or belongings.
  • If the client does not use the tourist ticket on the assigned date, he/she will lose the right of entry.
  • Loss of your tourist tickets.

POLICY OF CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS 

  • Changes and modifications of tours to Machupicchu and other tours are made only to tours that were purchased through the website of our company, through an email to info@ukumariperutravel.com, You can only make changes of name and date.
  • For changes and modifications of the entrance ticket to Machupicchu and train tickets are subject to the own policies of penalties of the Ministry of Culture and train companies Peru Rail and Inca Rail.
  • For the Inca Trail tour these are not subject to changes or modifications.
  • The other tours offered on the website that do not have Machupicchu as destination have no penalty for changes and modifications
  • Modifications in relation to tickets to Machupicchu, train tickets, bus tickets to Machupicchu will be subject to the own policies of the mentioned service companies that will be assumed by the client.

MODIFICATION OF TERMS OF USE

UKUMARI PERU TRAVEL reserves the right to modify or update our terms of use at any time. It is the client’s responsibility to take these details into account and review them.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

The client is recommended to have travel insurance and coverage in case of lost of luggage, accidents and others.

In case of illness or injury during the execution of one of our tours, we have trained staff in first aid in case of emergency, which will assist you, if the case is serious and requires emergency medical attention that risks your health will be derived (or) to a medical center for it the cost of transportation and medical care will be covered by the same client.

SECURITY CONDITIONS 

UKUMARI PERU TRAVEL reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel the tour service to customers who are under the influence of drugs and / or if the person is in a condition out of control that means an actual or potential danger to their own safety and / or passengers participating in our tour, this action will not be refunded. 

RATES AND PRICES

  • The prices and rates of all tours offered on the website are expressed in U.S. dollars.
  • The prices may suffer price changes during festive dates: Cusco holidays, Easter, Christmas and New Year. New Year’s Eve, such variation will be expressed on the website. If the client has already booked a tour there will be no price changes, the price offered on the website will be applied.
  • The prices of the tourist packages are based on the services of transfers, tourist transportation, excursions, guides, tourist tickets which is indicated in the description of each tour.
  • Prices and rates do not include extra expenses such as excess baggage and tips.
